Good news for all those students who were waiting for the Air force X/Y Group examination forms. December is coming and so are your forms. Those candidates who are willing to apply for the Indian Air force Technical & Non- Technical Examinations just have to wait until the online application forms to be disclosed on the official website. It is assumed that there may be some changes in the selection procedure and eligibility criteria of the examination but there is no such official announcement from the Indian Air Force department. The Selection procedure for AF is divided into three phases comprises of written, Psychological & Physical & lastly the group Discussion .

Written test basically checks your skills or you can say it checks level of intelligence. The students needs to face Maths, Physics & English exam. Thereafter , these students needs to face psychological test which is basically for how good are they in decision making capacity. Physical fitness test is held to check the physical capability of an individual and who wishes to join Indian Air force.

Lastly, since these Soldiers , Airmen directly need to report to officer’s, their communication skills need to be good and hence Group Discussion is held. Be it Technical or Non-Technical Airmen, somewhere down the line they are directly reporting to officers. Hence, the aim & selection procedure does check the level of English in written exams well as in group Discussion.
